Kem Wilson on Mentoring: Everyone Has Something to Offer!
Kem is a mentor of mentors. For the past 25 years, Kem has intentionally invested in the next generation through mentoring, discipleship, and fostering stewardship.
After graduating with his MBA from Harvard Business School, Kem went on to lead Kemmons Wilson Companies. Under his leadership, Kemmons Wilson Companies grew significantly, but Kem's many accomplishments in business pale in comparison to the impact he has had in the lives of others through mentoring and discipleship.
Kem is on the board of directors of Campus Crusade for Christ, DownLine Ministries, and the Baptist Hospital Foundation. He is a member of the University of Alabama’s President’s Cabinet, Culverhouse College of Business Board of Visitors, a former trustee of Furman University, and chairman of the board of the Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management at the University of Memphis.
For all his contributions, he has been named Memphis’ “Philanthropist of the Year” and “Mentor of the Year.”
Thank you! We look forward to our time together!
